James DeLorean is a Los Angeles-based TV writer. He recently wrapped as Freelance Writer and Writers’ Assistant on Season 2 of SYFY’s hit series THE ARK. He gravitates to character-driven stories that explore the relationship between nostalgia and trauma, and every individual’s potential for change. He collects, restores, and writes on 1980s computers, previously discarded and forgotten - a testament to how strongly he believes in second chances.

James studied writing at UCB, Second City, iO West, and Script Anatomy. His work has been featured in LA Weekly, The Dallas Observer, VoyageLA, Funny or Die, and the Huffington Post - and he was a semifinalist in Final Draft's Big Break and Scriptapalooza.

He enjoys watching true crime docs with his wife and beloved golden retriever, running the occasional marathon, and wondering why the hell AOL pulled the plug on AIM.
